James Dorrian supports the Protest on June 18th in Nantes
I wish you well with the protest, and hope it is very well attended: also that the weather is kind to you all... In the UK it is now government policy to embrace diversity. What a pity France cannot see the sense in preserving the old cultures. Irish-Canadian, friend of Brittany and passionate about its history and particularly the St Nazaire Raid

Irish-Canadian, friend of Brittany and passionate about its history and particularly the Operation Chariot, James Dorrian came to almost all the commemorations in Saint-Nazaire. He wrote a book in English with many previously unpublished testimonies and vintage photos: Saint-Nazaire, Operation Chariot - 1942 (Pen & Sword Books, 2006, collection Battleground Europe). He is also partner in the production of a documentary film about Micky Burn's (1) life, a hero of the Operation Chariot also known as St Nazaire Raid ( voir notre article )

He sent this message to ABP:

I wish you well with the protest, and hope it is very well attended: also that the weather is kind to you all...

In the UK it is now government policy to embrace diversity. What a pity France cannot see the sense in preserving the old cultures.

All the best,

Jim

"I am Irish-Canadian, though currently resident in England. Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, in 1946, I graduated from Trinity College, Dublin, before marrying Sandie and moving to the London area, in 1968", he writes on his website http://chariot-heroes.blogspot.com/
