The Celtic League Annual General Meeting took place last weekend (15/16th August) in the premises of Comhdháil Náisiúnta na Gaeilge in Kildare Street, Dublin. Delegates from the six Celtic countries

The Celtic League Annual General Meeting took place last weekend (15/16th August) in the premises of Comhdháil Náisiúnta na Gaeilge in Kildare Street, Dublin. Delegates from the six Celtic countries National branches and General Council Officers reviewed the work of the League over the past twelve months and made plans for the year ahead.

The following Officers were elected for the year ahead:

Covenor: Cathal O Luain General Secretary: Rhisiart Tal-e-bot Assistant General Secretary: Seanán Ó Coistín Director of Information: Bernard Moffatt Editor: Patricia Bridson Treasurer: Paul Kelly

A range of resolutions were adopted and reports on campaign work undertaken by the General Secretary and other Council Officers were received.
