Recently the Celtic League has been developing an increased internet profile to enable members and supporters to access the League's activities more easily.

Members, supporters and followers can now further keep up to date with the activities and developments of the Celtic League by logging on to the social networking site twitter or can visit the new Celtic League TV site. At this stage the project in its embryonic stage and its success or failure will depend on how enthusiastically League members embrace the new communications vehicles.

Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that enables its users to send and read other users' updates known as tweets. Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length, which are displayed on the user's profile page and delivered to other users who have subscribed to them (known as followers).

Celtic League TV will allow the League's Branches, Officers and members to make their views known on various topics that the organisation is concerned with in video format. The site will also be used to show videos of other activities that the League is involved in and videos that are relevant to the work of the League as an organisation.

In addition to these new developments the Celtic League also has a presence of Facebook, mygaelic, Linked In and Agence Bretagne Presse (ABP). The Celtic League will be launching its new website within the next few months, which will provide links to all of the sites mentioned here.
