Brigitte runs between Ireland, Wales, Brittany, Italy, Finland... This weekend she invited exceptional singers, exceptional as much by their talent than by their discretion. Laugh, emotion and total respect.

For the seventh time Brigitte Kloareg is inviting her Welsh and Irish friends or those from Poitou. Seventh time they settle down in hotels, holiday cottages, chapels and bars of The Pouldu. Seventh time the walls resound with the songs of high voice, about a Hussar dying at war, love deceptions, girls stolen by the English at The Pouldu ...

And then each in turn gives voice, in this small church of Sainte Anne in Doelan, the city of late writer Paul Guimard and his wife Benoîte Groult, the city of the French TV serial Dr Martins now.

Far from the indifferent national French medias, the singers do not care a lot about fame. They sing, from morning till night and from night to morning.

They reproduce here what they do over there, in the singing circles where every year they meet in a chosen place. To share their repertoires or sing together a song that they have enjoyed. To honor those who left, those who became singing champions, those who composed, arranged, found new airs or wrote new lyrics on the same theme...

When Rosie Stewart sang in turn, fragile and strong woman altoghether, up on her high heels shoes, after a brief presentation of the song she was up to sing, her friends responded with her. Emotion, a traditional song, which has been traditional only for... ten years, and that all already knew by heart.

The proof that these songs are timeless and that their singers have a huge heart.

Thank you all for having been able to share their passion.
