NEWS FROM THE CELTIC LEAGUE Further to the item on David Cameron?s plans to boost the Cornish economy and the apparent lack of a parallel plan to tackle homelessness (see link): (voir le site) I have been advised that Mr Eric Pickles to whom are correspondence was directed at the Communities Department relinquished that portfolio in May. Nonetheless we look forward to getting a response in due course from his successor and hopefully he will be as adept and swift at responding as his predecessor Mr Pickles was in the past. As an aside it seems from a UK media news report today that, rather shamefully, Mr Cameron is still more concerned about the Gull population of Cornwall than the population of indigenous people.
