The European elections have been for the Breton Party a fantastic opportunity to put Brittany on an international level. Whereas these elections were particularly marked by chauvinistically French considerations, our list "Brittany's Voice in Europe" managed in such a context to place itself at the level of other lists with a real political weight. We got a very significative score, with 32 712 votes and an average of 2,45% on the 5 Breton departements (Côtes d'Armor : 5059 votes, 2,62 %. Ille-et-Vilaine : 5856 votes, 2,15 %. Finistère : 9283 votes, 3,41%. Loire-Atlantique : 5699 votes, 1,5%. Morbihan : 6816 votes, 3,11%) with up to 6% in medium towns and 10 % in some towns. "Brittany's Voice in Europe", the only list to represent the Breton will for an institutional and constructive recognition of Brittany within Europe, got ahead of some lists that have enjoyed for many years important communication in the media towards the citizens. We keep in line with the will for an economic and ecological popular change, which the Breton citizens widely expressed, often in a spread out and different way.

We would like to thank the voters who trusted us and chose to express a vote of sudden change compared to the usual French political thoughts. Those who voted for the other political parties will soon realise, unfortunately, that the French MEPs will soon forget Brittany's interests, not mentioning those who will resign or will struggle against any federal progress for Europe. Therefore, the Breton Party thinks it can increase rapidly its electorate. The Breton Party pledges to explain in every area its economic, social and ecological project for Brittany, in which we will keep on talking about Europe. The Breton Party wishes therefore to be involved in the European political field, criticised or hushed up by the other political parties, except during campaigns.

The Breton Party proved that it didn't wish to confine Brittany to a regional second role, but rather give it all its place as a European nation, as well as bring pragmatic responses to the Breton stakes.

We will now rely on the electoral results and the networks of sympathizers that were built on this occasion to pledge to win a new electorate for the March 2010 regional elections. We invite all Breton people to support the action of the Breton Party following the European elections, that give us new perspectives and a new hope for Brittany's future.

For the Breton Party, the spokesman, Emile Granville, deputy mayor of Redon, head of the list "Brittany's Voice in Europe"
