Today we celebrate the European Day of Languages
Today we celebrate the European Day of Languages and remind the European Commission of its own polling from Eurobarometer that shows that 84% of Europeans support the protection of endangered/ minoritised EU languages. Its excellent news, but after a 20 year hiatus we urgently need new EU measures to ensure protection and recovery for our languages.
