Our Koad Sav Pell land, a Breton collective property since its purchase in 2003, on the site of the Battle of Saint Aubin du Cormier, is the location for the creation of a memorial sculpture park dedicated to our rich History of Brittany. Development work has been taking place there for now twenty-three years, with a renewed momentum for about five years.

We will certainly hold the festival "Les Feux de la Rencontre" on this historic moor of the same name, "la Lande de la Rencontre," again, as we did in the not-so-distant past, when an important occasion arises, but no longer in an automatic manner. However, it is important that the connections between all our partners, sponsors, artists, supporters, members, associates, volunteers, and friends in the broadest sense, past, present, and perhaps future, do not weaken, ultimately fading away and possibly disappearing. For this reason, we have been organizing a picnic for all friends of MAB KSP on the Koad Sav Pell land for several years, on Sunday, June 7, called "Les Braises de la Rencontre," because to restart the Fires one day, we need to keep the embers warm and glowing... and they also serve to cook our barbecues.
Meet us on site starting at 10:30 AM for a welcome coffee. A guided tour of our site will begin around 11 AM, with all the useful explanations and answers to your potential questions. Following that, we will inaugurate the new sculptures by Marc Simon: An engraved plaque representing the Duke of Brittany François II, father of Anne of Brittany, and his main advisor, treasurer, and receiver of Brittany, Pierre Landais, to the south in the historical part. And then six Celtic gods engraved in the festive and dreamlike stone circle to the north. We will welcome all friends of MAB Koad Sav Pell in the broadest sense, members and associates, as friends or supporters, or simply curious visitors, for this guided tour of our places and works.
Then around 1 PM, we will picnic in a friendly atmosphere, each bringing their own meal basket. Shared contributions on a communal buffet table will be welcome. A fire will be lit for grilling, and a small refreshment stand will be available, with galettes saucisses. Storytellers, musicians, and singers from our community will entertain the audience and get them dancing afterward. Games of pétanque and palets are also welcome, in a friendly spirit. The last to leave may share the leftovers around a fire in the evening.
This day of Encounter will also be an opportunity to hand over property documents to any potential recipient associates present, who have been out of touch for a while. We look forward to seeing you all again, dear friends from over twenty years to the most recent, for this friendly day of reunions in a place steeped in History, past, present, and future!
