Celtic League Cornish Branch Secretary in TV licence protest
There is an extensive TV report on Youtube of the protest yesterday by Mike Chappell, secretary of the Cornish branch of the Celtic League. Mike outlines in detail the shortcomings of the BBC and also states that he is not only shredding his TV licence but has also cancelled the direct debit payment.

The protest took place outside BBC Cornwall.

Mike Chappell holds a 24 hour protest outside BBC Radio Cornwall. He is destroying his TV licence because the BBC in Cornwall do not show any support for the area they are meant to represent. He is not alone in this. Even members of the BBC themselves have supported his claim.
